Turbine TK-250: A concentrate of technology, cutting-edge solutions, first-rate software design, professionalism, passion and conviction has allowed Konner's gas turbine division to develop the lightest turboshaft engine in the world in its category:

  • 250hp

  • 50 kg of pure passion

Konner, owner of the construction and design technology, guarantees high availability of production, technical assistance, maintenance and global management of spare parts.

TK-250 derives from an experience of over thirty years in the field of turbines, and aviation. With years of research and  development, and thousands of hours of bench and flight tests on vehicles used in real flying laboratories,  the sole purpose was to affirm the reliability of an engine that makes power, ease of use and safety the cornerstone of its being.

FADEC: ease of flying...

The FADEC (full authority digital electronic control) system developed by the Konner gas turbine division provides for the electronic management of the engine in all its phases, the automatic switching allows the pilot to listen to the flow of power without worrying about managing any parameters.

During the flight the pilot only has to engage the engine, fully exploiting its qualities, while the FADEC provides immediate response, efficiency and operating limits.

The presence of redundant electronics guarantees the correct functioning of the turbine in all conditions, a battery of dedicated support systems and separate power supplies guarantee the availability of energy to the electronic systems.

The graphic interface and an elegant and essential digital dashboard allow the driver to continuously monitor the engine.

DIESEL: this is the fuel of the TK-250. Thousands of diesel flight hours certify the reliability of the turboshaft engine installed on the Konner K1 and K2. The low flammability, availability in every corner of the globe and the low cost of diesel make it the ideal fuel in aviation.

Imagine the ease of being able to get diesel fuel at any car service station, anywhere in the world. The fuel circuit, the injectors, the combustion chamber, the fuel filtration and preheating systems, the pumps and the FADEC are designed to guarantee efficiency and reliability with the use of multiple fuels and their mixtures without the need for intervention technicians. Among the many fuels used and extensively tested in flight on the TK-250, the most popular and interesting are diesel, biodiesel, JP-2, JP-4. Reliability, safety, power and lightness are the intrinsic (inherent) qualities contained in the TK - 250.
